Job description
Overview

We are looking for teaching assistants to work in a Primary School located in Stockport with Year 6 children in a general Teaching Assistant role. The role requires an individual who is caring and patient, who is friendly and fair in their approach, with the ability to manage behaviour. Punctuality is important as the child will need support during challenging times of the school year, and you should be able to demonstrate effective behavioural management techniques to support learning to the highest standard as pupils prepare for their SATS. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, with a start date as soon as possible.

Requirements
  • Experience working with a KS2 environment
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (No Sponsorships Provided)
  • Able to adapt to the different needs of each child
  • Flexibly adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner
  • Able to use initiative to perform general tasks within the classroom
