Job summary

Bright Heart Education is a London-based tuition agency seeking experienced tutors for KS2 support in Wandsworth. This self-employed, part-time role offers professional development opportunities and is designed for those who thrive working with SEN students using the Bright Heart Approach.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, an Enhanced DBS with children’s barred list check, two professional references and a parent reference.

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate (children’s barred list) before starting tutoring
• Two professional references and a parent reference
• Overseas checks may be required for those who lived/worked abroad in the last 5 years
• Excellent spoken and written English is required
• SEN tuition/teaching experience is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring with the Bright Heart Approach for SEN students; follow guidelines and training provided
• Deliver KS2 tutoring support in Wandsworth
• Engage with parents/guardians as needed to support student progress
