KS2 Teaching Assistant - Ramsgate

Location: Ramsgate, Kent

Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing

Salary: £80-£120 Per day

About the Role

Are you a graduate aspiring to become a teacher and seeking classroom experience before applying for a PGCE course? Or are you an experienced or newly qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in Ramsgate? Do you have an enthusiastic, positive, and caring approach?

We are looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to support children on a 1:1 basis. Successful candidates can start ASAP and work through to the end of the school year, with the potential for extension and permanent placement.

Responsibilities

• Support children of all learning abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs
• Assist the class teacher within the classroom
• Carry out one-to-one and small group work with students
• Provide tuition and booster sessions for pupils working at lower abilities

Candidate Requirements

• Have a Degree or Masters qualification
• Experience working with students in roles such as Youth Worker, Teaching Assistant, University Ambassador, or Graduate Tutor
• Passionate about working in a school environment
• Ambitious, outgoing, and warm personality
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
• Experience in KS2 classroom settings
