Location: Broadstairs, Kent

Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing

Salary: £80-£120 Per day

About the Role

Are you a graduate seeking classroom experience before applying for a PGCE course? Or are you an experienced or newly qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a role in Broadstairs? Do you have an enthusiastic, positive, and caring approach?

We are looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to support children on a 1:1 basis. Successful candidates can start ASAP and work through to the end of the school year, with potential for extension and permanent placement.

Successful Candidates Will:

1. Have a team player approach
2. Be adaptable and flexible
3. Have experience supporting children of all learning abilities
4. Possess strong behaviour management and communication skills
5. Provide ongoing support within the classroom
6. Carry out one-to-one and small group work
7. Support pupils working at lower abilities or with Special Educational Needs

Requirements:

• Hold a Degree or Masters
• Have experience working with students (e.g., Youth Work, Teaching Assistant, University Ambassador, Graduate Tutor)
• Be passionate about working in a school environment
• Be ambitious, outgoing, and warm
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Experience in KS2 classroom settings
