Aspire People are seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant for a long-term, full-time role in a supportive primary school in Leeds. You will gain meaningful classroom experience and be part of a welcoming staff team.

Ideal for recent graduates or those seeking progression into teaching, with ongoing consultant support and opportunities to experience different year groups. You will help deliver activities, monitor pupil progress and promote an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working with children in a school or nursery setting.
• A degree in Psychology, Primary Education or similar background.
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one).
• References to cover the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning and behaviour in KS2.
• Assist class teacher with planned activities.
• Adapt resources to meet individual needs.
