We are looking for a dedicated and proactive KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across Key Stage 2

• Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning and boost confidence

• Assist with classroom preparation, displays, and general administrative tasks

• Provide targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs, where required

• Encourage positive behaviour and help create a safe, respectful learning environment

• Support pupils during breaktimes, lunchtimes, and school activities as needed

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in KS2

• A genuine passion for education and pupil development

• Strong communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.

• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths – a TA qualification is desirable but not essential
