The role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary school in Leeds to start for Sept 2025 new term. The ideal candidate will preferably hold a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (but not essential) and will have recent experience in a Primary School working as a Teaching Assistant supporting pupils in KS2. You will be supporting children in class, under the direction of the class teacher, running interventions, working with children with additional needs and playing a full part of the team.
The school is a successful, inclusive, popular two form entry primary school with innovative and creative approaches to learning. This school has a ‘good’ Ofsted rating and is a two-form school. It is at the heart of the community with inclusivity at the centre of everything they do.
The desired Teaching Assistant will have:
• Have experience working with Primary School aged children.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of support staff.
• Have a passion for helping to support teaching staff across all subjects.
