Job description

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils in a vibrant and inclusive primary setting, helping them to achieve their full potential. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons

• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives

• Assist in preparing classroom resources and maintaining a positive learning environment

• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence

• Support the academic, social and emotional development of pupils

• Contribute to assessment and progress tracking by providing regular feedback to teachers

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Have experience working with primary-aged pupils, particularly in Key Stage 2

• Be adaptable, reliable, and proactive in supporting a range of learning needs

• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.

• Be confident in following instructions and using initiative

• Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
