Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? Our esteemed partner primary school in Handsworth, Birmingham is looking for a reliable KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team this September.

This is a full-time, long-term role working across Key Stage 2 classes, supporting pupils with a range of needs in both group and 1:1 settings. Whether helping with daily literacy and numeracy or supporting emotional wellbeing, you'll be a key part of the classroom team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with classroom activities across KS2
  • Provide small group and 1:1 interventions in core subjects
  • Support the teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
  • Encourage pupil engagement and positive behaviour
  • Help create a supportive and stimulating learning environment

You Will Need:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a primary school setting, ideally KS2
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A patient, encouraging attitude with a genuine passion for education
  • Ability to follow instructions and use your initiative
