Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking KS1 teachers for flexible short-term and long-term positions across Torpoint and the surrounding areas. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, following provided plans, and support pupils across the KS1 curriculum.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent, strong KS1 knowledge, outstanding classroom management, and the ability to work across different schools and year groups. Safeguarding duties and excellent relationships with staff are essential.

Job description

KS1 Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately

These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings. You’ll be supporting schools in Torpoint and the surrounding areas, teaching Key Stage 1 pupils across a range of subjects.

Duties as KS1 Teacher:
  • Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum following provided plans
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Assess and record pupil progress where required
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners
  • Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to the wider school community
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
