KS2 Teacher Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS2.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to ensure that all students, regardless of ability, can access and excel in their learning.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support development.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment, encouraging a love of learning and nurturing each child's social and emotional well-being.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery, sharing ideas and resources to ensure consistency across the school.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
• Contribute to the wider school community, supporting school events and engaging in team activities.

KS2 Teacher Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching KS2, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and inclusive environment.
• Strong communication skills, both with students and parents.
• Passion for fostering children’s development, both academically and socially.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for working as part of a collaborative team.
