Salary: £31,650.00 - £43,607.00 dependent on experience
Salary Grade: Teachers Main Scale
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working Hours: 32.50
Contract Type: Temporary Contract for one year
Start date : Required from September 2025

The Governors of Lark Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to cover a temporary teaching vacancy in KS2 for one year. You will need to bring creativity, ambition and a desire for teaching. You will have excellent subject knowledge and will be committed to giving our children the start in life they deserve. There is a chance that the appointment could lead to a permanent position. ECTs are very welcome to apply.


You will:

  • Have experience of working in KS2.
  • Have a track record of delivering good or outstanding outcomes for children.
  • Be innovative in your approaches, delivering engaging and exciting lessons.
  • Have a secure understanding of assessment and be able to place this at the centre of your teaching.
  • Have a ‘can do’ mentality with a desire to overcome challenges that arise.
  • Be a team-player with good communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Be committed to inclusion and adapting teaching and learning to overcome barriers.
  • Most importantly, be committed to professional development and have high expectations of your own practice.
