KS2 Teacher - Leighton Buzzard (September Start)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join a wonderful school in Leighton Buzzard. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, and the ability to inspire and motivate children to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of each child in their care and use this information to plan next steps.
  • Provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment where children feel valued and respected.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and any concerns that arise.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience of teaching in Key Stage 2.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to engage in training opportunities.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for teaching and learning.
