KS2 Teacher
Location: Greenwich
Position: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Start date: September 2025
Pay: 3500 - 4500 per month

Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Greenwich, South East London, to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

This OFSTED-rated "Good" school is recognised for its strong values, supportive leadership, and commitment to helping every child achieve their best. The successful candidate will be responsible for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning while ensuring strong academic progress.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and motivated teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils through the important years of Key Stage 2 and preparing them for the transition to secondary school.

The Ideal KS2 Teacher Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly in English and Maths
  • The ability to plan and deliver creative, challenging, and inclusive lessons
  • Excellent classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • A reflective, enthusiastic, and collaborative teaching approach
Main KS2 Teacher Responsibilities Include
  • Delivering all areas of the Key Stage 2 curriculum to a high standard
  • Planning engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of all learners
  • Supporting pupils' progress in core subjects, including English, Maths, and Science
  • Creating a stimulating and positive classroom environment
  • Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupils thrive academically and personally
  • Providing pastoral support and promoting pupils' wellbeing and social development
  • Taking part in wider school life, including clubs, trips, and enrichment activities
