Primary Teaching Role in Gravesend

We are currently seeking a qualified teacher to join one of our primary schools in the Gravesend area.

KS2 Teacher: The Role

This school is looking for an experienced and capable candidate to join their team. As a teacher, you will be responsible for engaging students with tasks aligned with the national curriculum. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach, motivate, and inspire students, working collaboratively with fellow teachers and teaching assistants.

This is a full-time role (5 days per week) covering a 1-year maternity leave, with potential for permanent employment at the end of the contract. The candidate will be expected to handle planning, teaching, and marking duties.

KS2 Teacher: The Ideal Candidate

• Passion for working with children.
• Commitment to creating a stimulating and safe learning environment.
• Understanding of safeguarding protocols.
• Ability to deliver lessons confidently with strong curriculum knowledge and provide constructive feedback.
• Classroom management skills and behavior monitoring.
• Experience with SEN or working with SEN children is preferred.

KS2 Teacher: Candidate Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) with relevant experience and curriculum knowledge. References required.
• Valid Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply upon shortlisting.
• Professionalism, reliability, and punctuality.
• Proof of qualifications/certificates.
• Experience in the UK and understanding of safeguarding practices.
