We are currently looking to hire a qualified teacher to join one of our Primary schools in the Gravesend area.

KS2 Teacher: The Role

This school is looking for an experienced and capable candidate to join their team of teaching staff. As a teacher, you will be responsible for engaging students with tasks aligned with the national curriculum. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach, motivate, and inspire students, working collaboratively with other teachers and teaching assistants.

This is a full-time role (5 days per week) to cover one year of maternity leave, with the potential to become a permanent position at the end of the contract. The candidate will be expected to handle planning, teaching, and marking responsibilities.

KS2 Teacher: The Ideal Candidate

• Passion for working with children.
• Commitment to creating a stimulating and safe learning environment.
• Understanding of safeguarding protocols.
• Ability to deliver lessons confidently with strong curriculum knowledge and provide constructive feedback.
• Capability to manage classroom behavior effectively.

KS2 Teacher: Candidate Requirements

• Qualified teacher with strong curriculum knowledge and experience, holding QTS and providing classroom references.
• Valid Enhanced DBS check, registered with the DBS Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one immediately upon shortlisting.
• Professional, reliable, and punctual behavior.
• Proof of qualification/certificate required.
• Experience in the UK and understanding of safeguarding best practices with children.
