KS2 Teacher - Full-Time Primary School - Derby September 2025 Start

  • Location: Derby

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

  • Daily Rate: .62 (dependent on experience and pay scale)

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working with a friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Derby to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher. This full-time role will commence in September 2025 and continue for the full academic year, with the potential to become a permanent position.



About the Role:

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and inspire pupils in Key Stage 2. You'll be working within a supportive team environment, helping pupils achieve their full potential across a broad and balanced curriculum.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver creative and differentiated lessons aligned with the KS2 national curriculum

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development

  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to monitor and promote pupil progress

  • Build strong, professional relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

  • Contribute to planning meetings, assessments, and wider school life



Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent teaching experience within KS2

  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
