Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is seeking a KS2 Teacher for full-time posts with daily supply across Thetford and surrounding areas, available to start as soon as possible. The role requires delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and ensuring pupil progress under the KS2 curriculum.

You should hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, have recent KS2 experience, strong classroom management, and the ability to adapt to varied learning needs.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has recent experience teaching in KS2.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability.
• Is confident delivering the national curriculum and supporting varied learning needs.
• Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress
• Assess and monitor pupil attainment, providing feedback and support
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and adapt learning activities
• Manage behaviour effectively and promote a respectful learning culture
• Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times
