Job Description:

Protocol Education is seeking a KS2 Teacher to work at a Residential Primary School in Chigwell. Candidates must have QTS or Graduate Teaching Status Qualification.

The school, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, caters to children aged 5-11 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Currently, all pupils are boys who board Monday to Friday during term time.

The pupils are grouped into 'houses' based on their social needs and abilities. The school prides itself on a family-like environment and maintains an Outstanding rating from Ofsted.

Candidate Requirements:

• QTS or Graduate Teaching Status Qualification
• Understanding of the national curriculum, especially KS1/KS2
• Interest or experience in special educational needs
• Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with pupils and staff
• Willingness to undergo relevant training
• Good physical health and stress management skills

Experience with SEND or SEMH is not mandatory; applicants with mainstream school experience are also considered. Salary depends on experience.

This is a long-term, full-time role requiring availability Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
