Year 4 Primary Teacher

Primary Teacher - Watford, Primary School - Starting September 2025 - Paid to scale (M1 - M6 London fringe) between 160 and 230 per day - Great school with supportive SLT

KS2 Teacher required for an exceptional Watford Primary school to start September 25

Negotiable rates of pay between 160 and 230 per day based on experience

Covering a settled Year 4 class and replacing a long-term, permanent member of staff.

With an excellent reputation for helping students become confident learners this 'Good' Ofsted School finds itself oversubscribed on a yearly basis and due to a recent resignation, is looking to appoint a Year 4 Teacher who could commit for at least 12 months. The class is a mixture of children from a range of backgrounds with varied ability levels. They are well behaved and enjoy learning so this will be a great role for a teacher who is looking to spend most of their time teaching rather than managing behaviour.

This school has a friendly, welcoming environment and would be a great option for both experienced teachers and ECTs. Full support and career development will be provided.

As a Year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for:

Planning, teaching and marking.
Assess, track, and report on the pupil's attainment and personal development
Encourage pupils engage with learning through targeted questioning
Establish positive relationships with parents and carers
Provide a caring and supportive learning environment.
