KS2 Supply Teacher : Sudbury and Surrounding Areas
Are you a Qualified Primary Teacher specialising in Key Stage 2, looking to reclaim your work:life balance? Whether you thrive on the complete flexibility of day:to:day supply or prefer the pedagogical continuity of a long:term placement, we have fantastic opportunities tailored to your professional lifestyle.
We are currently partnering with an established portfolio of excellent primary schools, junior schools, and academies in Sudbury and the surrounding Suffolk/Essex borders. We are experiencing a high demand for adaptable, passionate educators who excel at delivering the KS2 curriculum and guiding older primary students through these critical academic years.
Whether you are an experienced upper:primary specialist looking to step away from the administrative pressures of full:time classroom leadership, or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to build confidence across Years 3 to 6, we can help you find your perfect balance.
Day:to:Day Cover: Take complete control of your schedule. Choose exactly which days you want to work to perfectly fit around your personal commitments, studies, or lifestyle. It is a fantastic way to experience different school settings.
Long:Term Opportunities: If you prefer stability, we have fixed:term KS2 roles spanning a term or a full academic year (covering maternity, sickness, or interim gaps). This is the perfect way to truly embed yourself within a local school team, lead a specific year group, and see your students progress.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent qualification.
Strong working knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum (experience with SATs preparation is highly advantageous but not essential).
Confident classroom management skills and the ability to keep junior learners engaged, motivated, and focused.
An adaptable, proactive approach, ready to hit the ground running in new school environments.
A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one).
Competitive rates of pay, processed weekly and reflective of your experience level.
A dedicated local consultant with deep knowledge of the Sudbury and Suffolk primary education sectors.
A completely transparent service that works strictly around your personal availability.
The chance to explore different local schools, which frequently opens doors to permanent positions if that is your ultimate goal.
Ready to choose a more flexible path in education?
We are strictly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All candidates will be required to undergo comprehensive vetting, reference checks, and an enhanced DBS disclosure.
