KS2 Class Teacher – Long-Term Supply
Location: Slough
Salary: MPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term Supply (Possibility of a permanent role)
Start Date: September 2025

About the Role

Connex Education is working with a friendly and inclusive junior school in the Slough area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher for a full-time, long-term supply position beginning in September 2025.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess and track pupil progress, adapting lessons to meet individual needs
• Support the academic, emotional, and social development of all pupils
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and leadership
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil outcomes

Assignment Details

• Full-time role, Monday to Friday (Term time only)
• Long-term supply with the potential for a permanent role

Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom management and a proactive teaching style
• Passion for supporting pupils from a range of backgrounds
• A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Connex
