KS2 Primary Teacher – Full-Time – Sittingbourne
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full Time, Long Term (until July 2025)
Salary: Paid to Scale (£163 – £223 per day, dependent on experience)

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher to take on a full-time, long-term position in a KS2 class, starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator looking to make a consistent and meaningful impact in the classroom.

About the Role:

The school are looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who can deliver the KS2 curriculum in a way that is engaging, accessible, and relatable to all learners. You’ll be teaching a class that includes pupils from a range of backgrounds, including those with SEND, so experience in inclusive practice is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Support the academic and personal development of all students
  • Use effective assessment strategies to track and raise attainment
  • Create a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • Take on full teacher responsibilities including planning, marking, and attending meetings
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have previous experience teaching in KS2 (preferably in Year 3-6)
  • Have a strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and be confident supporting pupils with SEND
  • Be committed, consistent, and passionate about inspiring young learners
  • Be a driver, ideally, due to the school’s location and for ease of access
  • Hold a current, enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
