Job Title: KS2 Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £185 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an engaging and stimulating curriculum that supports pupils in their academic and personal development. Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Use differentiated teaching methods to ensure all students are supported and challenged.
  • Foster a positive classroom culture, promoting high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance student learning and well-being.
  • Monitor pupil progress through effective assessment strategies, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Ensure a strong focus on safeguarding and pupil welfare, following school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience working within the classroom teaching Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting.
  • A deep understanding of the KS2 curriculum, assessment frameworks, and teaching methodologies.
  • A passion for education, with the ability to inspire and engage pupils.
  • Strong classroom management skills with a nurturing and supportive approach.
  • ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a dedicated and forward-thinking team.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
