GSL Education are looking for a friendly and skilled Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to work in a welcoming school in Scunthorpe. The role can be full-time or part-time, and can be either day-to-day supply or long-term, depending on your availability.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will help children learn and grow in a supportive and fun classroom. You will be teaching subjects like English, Maths and Science, and helping pupils prepare for their future learning in secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach exciting and fun lessons for Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Support all children to achieve their best, including those who need extra help.
• Manage the classroom well and create a positive learning space.
• Check pupils' progress and give feedback to help them improve.
• Work with other teachers and staff to help all children succeed.

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (such as QTS or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a primary school.
• Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• A kind and caring attitude with strong classroom management skills.
• A valid, enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or be happy to apply for one through GSL Education.
