We are seeking an engaging and dedicated Part-Time Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming rural primary school nestled near the beautiful Quantock Hills in Somerset. This school is part of a well-established Multi-Academy Trust, with strong links to other schools across the region. About this KS2 Teacher role:

• Job Role Class Teacher, teaching KS2
• Location Bridgwater, Somerset
• Salary MPS1 - MPS6 (£31,650 - £43,607 FTE)
• Working Hours - 8:30 - 15:30, 3 days a week
• Contract Length - starting September 2025 until July 2026

Requirements of this KS2 teacher role:

• A valid right to work in the UK
• Previous experience in teaching KS2 students
• Hold the appropriate degree, UK QTS or equivalent
• Hold an Enhanced Child workforce DBS with an update service subscription, or be willing to apply for one

As a KS2 Teacher you will need to:

• Foster a warm and secure classroom environment that cultivates a sense of significance, respect, and enthusiasm among all students
• Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons to captivate students' attention
• Implement tailored behaviour management techniques specifically tailored for the developmental stages of KS2 children
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and excellent classroom management
