Veritas Education is dedicated to supporting schools and providing exceptional teaching staff to ensure every student's success. We are currently seeking a dynamic and committed teacher for a mixed Year 5/6 class on a part-time basis, starting 9th June 2025 until the end of the academic year.

Role Description:

We are looking for a passionate teacher to join a local school on a part-time basis. The role will involve teaching a mixed Year 5/6 class with the following hours:

• Mondays: Morning only

• Tuesdays: Morning only

• Wednesdays: Full day

• Thursdays: Full day

• Fridays: Full day

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students achieve their academic goals in a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality lessons to a mixed Year 5/6 class.

• Planning and delivering lessons that align with the curriculum.

• Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.

• Monitoring and assessing student progress.

• Collaborating with school staff and contributing to the school's development.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience in teaching Key Stage 2, specifically Years 5 and 6.

• A passion for teaching and commitment to students' academic success.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Flexibility and enthusiasm in adapting to the needs of the class.
