Are you a dedicated and passionate teacher ready to inspire Key Stage 2 learners?

GSL Education are welcoming applications for a committed KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school in Gainsborough. This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers or strong ECTs to contribute to pupil progress and development in a creative learning environment.

Role Overview:

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that support academic progress while fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment. You will follow the school’s curriculum plan and maintain high standards of behaviour and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in accordance with the KS2 national curriculum.
  • Promote high standards of attainment, behaviour, and inclusion.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support continued development.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Participate in school-wide activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2.
  • In-depth understanding of the KS2 curriculum and age-appropriate pedagogical strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Effective classroom management techniques to maintain a calm and productive learning environment.
  • Adaptability and creativity, with the ability to differentiate learning and support a wide range of abilities and needs.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
