KS2 Teacher Needed in North Somerset

I am working with a fabulous Junior School in the North Somerset area that is looking for a KS2 Teacher to join them on a full-time or part-time basis. This inclusive school is a 2-form entry school with a passion for working relentlessly with children and their families to achieve their highest potential.

The Role

This position is a full-time or part-time opportunity starting after Easter to cover maternity leave. The school is flexible and looking for the right candidate. If you are seeking a Class Teacher position, this school offers that opportunity.

They are seeking a candidate with experience in a KS2 class. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, this is a great opportunity for you.

You will be expected to:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons and collaborate with other Year Group Teachers.
  2. Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to support individual children.
  3. Communicate clearly with other Key Stage staff.
  4. Build relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
  5. Mark and assess children’s work according to the school's assessment policy.
