Une unité de référence pour élèves (PRU) à Birmingham recherche un enseignant KS2 passionné et résilient. Qualifications

Job description

KS2 Teacher

Location: Birmingham

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £160 – £240 per day

The School/role:

I am working with a an amazing PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) based in Birmingham that is seeking for a passionate and resilient KS2 Teacher to join their team. This fantastic specialist centre is for students aged between 11-16 who are unable to attend their mainstream provision because of medical reasons.

Key Duties:

  • Managing behaviour effectively using positive strategies.
  • Resolving conflicts calmly and constructively.
  • Applying emotional intelligence to build trust with pupils.
  • Creating engaging and creative lesson plans.
  • Staying highly organised to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Listening attentively to understand pupils

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
  • QTS qualification
  • SEMH, SEBD needs experience

  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – on the update service
