KS2 Supply Teacher – Sheffield

Are you a passionate and adaptable Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Sheffield? We are seeking reliable and motivated KS2 Supply Teachers to work in primary schools across the city.

Position: Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract Type: Flexible, Supply
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: Competitive rates of pay

About the Role:
We are looking for experienced KS2 Teachers who can step into different classrooms and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons. As a supply teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to work in various schools throughout Sheffield, covering for teachers on leave, managing classrooms, and supporting pupils in years 3-6. Whether you're looking for short-term or long-term opportunities, we can offer you the flexibility to work when and where you choose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum
  • Maintaining a positive and focused classroom environment
  • Managing behaviour effectively and ensuring students are supported throughout the lesson
  • Providing feedback to staff on student progress and behaviour
  • Adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of students
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the school day in the absence of the regular teacher

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)
  • A passion for teaching and engaging with children
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt to different school environments
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if needed)
