Job summary

Academics in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated KS2 supply teacher to commence in September 2026. This temporary role offers daily work with potential to transition to a longer-term position for the right candidate.

You'll create a safe, inclusive environment, deliver quality lessons aligned to the national curriculum, and adapt plans for pupils with SEND. DBS update service is required, along with QTS or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service).
• Willingness to complete relevant training when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and inclusive environment for pupils.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned to the national curriculum.
• Adapt teaching for children with SEND.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupils.
