Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
• Experience with SEMH needs in a school setting.
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.

• Commitment to supporting pupils’ emotional and educational development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons tailored to SEMH pupils, in one-to-one, small-group or class settings.
• Use effective behaviour management and de-escalation to support emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues and leaders to develop personalised learning programmes.
• Monitor pupil progression and adapt teaching strategies to improve outcomes.
• Support pupils’ social and vocational skills development to boost independence and confidence.
