Job summary

The Education Network Birmingham is seeking a committed Primary Teacher to lead a Key Stage 2 class of pupils with complex learning needs at a welcoming specialist school in Birmingham. You will deliver engaging, highly differentiated lessons and foster a calm, structured learning environment to support each child’s development.

You will work closely with experienced Teaching Assistants and specialist staff, receive ongoing professional development, and be supported by senior leaders.

Qualifications

• QTS status and eligibility to teach in the UK.
• Experience working with pupils with complex learning needs in a school setting.
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons for KS2 SEND learners.

Responsibilities

• Teach a small Key Stage 2 class of pupils with complex learning needs.
• Plan engaging and highly differentiated lessons.
• Create a calm, inclusive and structured classroom environment.
• Support pupils' communication, independence and personal development.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and specialist staff.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and contribute to targets.
