Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Oxford. This role offers an immediate start or a January 2027 start, with opportunities to impact pupil progress and parental engagement within a supportive school community.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with staff to ensure high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A creative and engaging teaching style.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
• Inspire confidence, curiosity and a love of learning in every child.
