Job summary

TLTP Education is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher for a welcoming school in Stanmore, Harrow. You will plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that support pupils' academic, social and emotional development in a safe, inclusive classroom.

The successful candidate will have QTS or an equivalent qualification and experience teaching KS2, with a strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a primary school, ideally KS2.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Ability to plan, deliver and differentiate engaging lessons.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Teach core subjects, including English, Mathematics and Science, alongside other areas of the primary curriculum.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet learners with different abilities and starting points.
• Establish clear classroom routines and maintain an inclusive learning environment.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress to inform future planning.
• Support pupils in developing essential literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff to support effective teaching and learning.
