Temporary Year 5/6 Class Teacher – Autumn Term
Location: DT9 Area
Start Date: September 2025 | Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (Autumn Term)

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced teacher looking for an exciting opportunity this autumn?

A well-established and welcoming primary school in the heart of the DT9 area is seeking a dedicated Year 5/6 Class Teacher to join our team for the Autumn Term. This is a fantastic chance to work within a supportive and forward-thinking environment, where pupils are eager to learn and staff are committed to excellence in education.

About the Role:

  • Temporary position covering the Autumn Term (September – December 2025)
  • Full-time teaching role in a mixed Year 5/6 class
  • Working collaboratively with a strong and experienced KS2 team
  • Emphasis on creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 5/6
  • Holds QTS and has a good knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Is confident in managing behaviour positively and effectively
  • Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching
