About the Role:
We are looking for an inspiring and experienced KS2 Phase Lead to join our dedicated team from September 2025. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a passionate educator who is ready to make a significant impact in Key Stage 2. As KS2 Phase Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the KS2 phase, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across the year groups. You will work closely with staff, students, and senior leadership to shape a positive, inclusive, and ambitious educational experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of KS2 teachers and support staff, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across the phase.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, providing guidance and support to address barriers to learning and enhance outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to raise standards and achievement for all students.
  • Lead the development of a creative, engaging, and challenging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers, keeping them informed and involved in the learning process.
  • Promote a culture of high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to contribute to whole-school improvement plans and the strategic development of the school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
  • Previous leadership experience or the ability to demonstrate leadership potential.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies in KS2.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A passion for education, with a clear vision for raising standards and inspiring both pupils and colleagues.
