Job description

Temporary, Part-Time hours

Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic support and guidance to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting (their homes, care home or local library).
  • Develop and implement individualised educational plans tailored to students' specific learning requirements.
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with agency.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working with SEN students.
  • Understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
