Job summary

Shorefields in Pebmarsh is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to join a small village school and support a mixed KS2 class. You will deliver daily interventions to individuals and small groups, helping pupils access the curriculum and make progress.

The role involves assisting pupils with various learning needs, including medical needs, and requires collaboration with the class teacher and staff. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Has experience of, or a strong understanding of, the KS2 curriculum and how children learn.
• Is calm, caring and adaptable.
• Can build positive relationships with children and adults.
• Is patient, reliable and committed to supporting all pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support learning in a mixed KS2 classroom
