About Us

At High Impact Academic Coaching, we specialise in providing targeted academic support to students who thrive with a more personalised, flexible approach. Working primarily with students who face barriers to mainstream education, our coaching focuses not only on core subjects, but also on building confidence, engagement, and long-term success.

We're currently expanding our team and are looking for experienced, passionate tutors in Maths/English/Science who want to make a real difference. We are working with a student in KS3 and if you have the skills to support with any of these subjects, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a self-employed tutor, you will:

• Deliver 1:1 sessions, usually in person
• Support a student moving into KS3
• Tailor sessions to individual learning needs and styles
• Submit brief session feedback and track student progress
• Maintain clear, professional communication with High Impact Academic Coaching's coordination team

We're Looking For

• Qualified teachers or experienced tutors with strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, or Science
• Individuals with a calm, patient, and supportive approach
• Confident, self-motivated professionals who can work independently
• A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
• A clear enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

You Will Need

• Access to your own transport (sessions are delivered face-to-face in the community or in homes)
• Flexibility during school hours or after school (we work with your availability)
• To be registered as self-employed (you'll invoice monthly for hours worked)
