Job summary

Frederick Bird Academy in Coventry is seeking an enthusiastic Intervention Class Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term basis. You will deliver high-quality teaching, with mornings dedicated to targeted interventions, and work with Year 6 colleagues to accelerate pupil progress and attainment.

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status, promote positive behaviour, and celebrate diversity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to a diverse student body.
• Provide targeted interventions to accelerate pupil progress, especially in Year 6.
• Collaborate with class teachers and leaders to identify pupils' needs and provide responsive support.
• Contribute to raising standards through focused teaching, assessment, and intervention strategies.
