Job summary

Teaching Vacancies is seeking an experienced HLTA to work mainly in KS2, leading classes to cover PPA and leadership time. The successful candidate will have strong behaviour management and be prepared to work with a supportive team, delivering engaging lessons.

Responsibilities include teaching whole classes, small groups, or individuals when teachers are absent, planning with teachers, assessing and providing feedback, and performing classroom administration.

Qualifications

• HLTA with KS2 experience to cover PPA/leadership time.
• Strong behaviour management and willingness to work with a supportive team.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons to a variety of pupils.

Responsibilities

• Lesson Delivery: Teach whole classes, small groups, or individuals when teachers are absent or occupied.
• Planning: Design and prepare lesson plans and classroom activities with teachers.
• Assessment and evaluation: Marking and providing feedback to pupils.
• Administrative tasks: Record-keeping and preparing classroom materials.
