The Graduate Network is seeking a KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant to support Year 6 pupils with targeted boosters in reading, writing and maths ahead of SATs. You will pre-teach key content, run retrieval and fluency drills, and coach pupils on timing and marking criteria.

This role is based in an outstanding primary school in Hall Green, with strong routines, robust assessment, and a collaborative Year 6 team.

Formación

• Degree - 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS - Held already or willingness to obtain.
• Desire to work in education/with children - Real commitment to KS2 progress and fair access.
• Experience working with children - tutoring, mentoring, volunteering desirable but not essential.

What you'll do:

Work with the Year 6 team to deliver tightly focused boosters in reading, writing and maths. You'll pre-teach key content, run short retrieval and fluency drills, and coach pupils on timing, question breakdown and marking criteria. You'll prepare lean resources, track quick wins, and agree next steps with the class teacher after each cycle.

A clear communicator who stays organised and calm when deadlines loom. You can explain tricky ideas in simple steps, keep sessions brisk and purposeful, and build steady confidence in reluctant learners.

Requirements
