Welton CE Academy is seeking a dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join our village school from January 2027. This part-time role (3 days per week) offers a supportive environment with strong focus on high-quality teaching and pupil well-being.

The successful candidate will teach a mixed Year 4/5 class, foster a positive classroom culture and collaborate with parents and external partners to support pupil development. A Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2027 is in place.

Formación

• QTS required.
• Experience of teaching in KS2.
• Demonstrable evidence of high standards of class teaching.
• Practical understanding of assessment and target setting procedures.
• OFSTED awareness.
• Understanding of inclusion and personalised learning.

Responsabilidades

• Teach a mixed Year 4/5 class.
• Be responsible for learning, progress and achievement of all pupils in the class.
• Deliver high-quality teaching that secures excellent outcomes and promotes a love of learning.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture where every child can succeed.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, colleagues and external agencies.
