Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Class Teacher for a nurturing SEN school in Lambeth starting April 2025. This role offers the chance to positively impact students with special educational needs through tailored support in an inclusive environment.

Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at a dedicated SEN school
• Teach small KS2 classes with diverse needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and speech difficulties
• Develop engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment promoting social, emotional, and academic growth
• Collaborate with SENCO, support staff, and professionals to implement personalized learning plans
• Monitor progress and communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues
• Encourage independence and confidence while ensuring student safety

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching KS2, preferably in an SEN setting
• Patience, flexibility, and nurturing approach
• Strong knowledge of KS2 curriculum and ability to adapt for diverse learners
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS check required
