A dedicated SEN school in Lambeth is seeking a compassionate and experienced KS2 Class Teacher to join their team from April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs, providing them with tailored support in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at a dedicated SEN school in Lambeth
• Teach a small class of KS2 students with a variety of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), learning disabilities, and speech and language difficulties
• Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support each student's individual learning needs
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that fosters students’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and other professionals to implement personalized learning plans and provide holistic support
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-expression in students, while ensuring their safety and well-being

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching KS2 students, ideally within an SEN setting
• A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach to teaching children with additional needs
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and the ability to adapt it for students with diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with support staff and external agencies
• Enhanced DBS check required
