The Role – KS2 Class Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where children feel confident, supported, and motivated to learn.
- Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and support individual learning journeys.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
- Promote key skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking through a variety of structured and exploratory activities.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging curiosity, independence, and resilience.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including enrichment activities, school events, and curriculum development.
Who We Are Looking For – KS2 Class Teacher
- UK QTS is essential, with experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
- Evidence of good or outstanding teaching practice.
- Ability to create engaging, stimulating, and inclusive learning opportunities.
- A creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for upper primary education.
- Strong understanding of pupil-led learning and personalised support.
- A team player who works well with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a nurturing classroom environment.
- Committed to inclusive practice, ensuring every child can thrive regardless of background or ability.
- Open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs); CPD and mentoring available.
