Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of the National Curriculum and statutory requirements.
• Ability to identify learning intentions, plan sequences, and structure lessons.
• Set high expectations for pupil behaviour and maintain discipline through positive relationships.
• Analyse pupil progress and attainment data to tailor provision and drive progress.
• Commitment to safeguarding and protecting children.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils during the school day.
• Teaching classes of pupils and ensuring planning, assessment and reporting meet learning and social needs.
• Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school inside and outside the classroom.
• Contribute to team-working among teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and governors.
• Contribute to safeguarding duties and promote welfare of children.
