Job Title: KS2 Class Teacher

Start Date: September 2025

We invite applications from inspiring, talented, and highly motivated KS2 teachers. There is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to become a Year Group Leader, leading the team and positively impacting staff and students.

Thames Ditton Junior School is a popular 3-form entry school with 360 pupils from Year 3 to Year 6. The school also provides learning and additional needs support for 16 pupils with moderate learning and speech/language needs.

The ideal candidate will:

  1. Provide high-quality teaching, learning, and classroom management, aligning with our TDJS teaching and learning model.
  2. Understand and promote our TDJS Way processes and expectations, participate in training, and engage with SLT.
  3. Oversee teaching, learning, behavior, communication, and progress within the year group.
  4. Support and line manage colleagues to develop their practice.
  5. Collaborate with SLT to develop and implement new strategies.
